We organize biking trips from Marrakech to Atlas mountans in Morocco to explore the Oukaimden on mountain bikes then we descent to Asni and on to Kik plateau.
Starting at 2700 meters above sea level there’s plenty of downhill to come as we make our way along a rough jeep track that heads south out of Oukaimeden. You will have vehicle support for the biking ride. The first 25-30 km is largely downhill along a track that affords excellent views of the Toubkal massif at 4167 meters.
At a suitable spot on the way down we stop for cooking a lunch. We continue to Asni, where we start our 3 km climb onto the fabulous Kik Plateau. In March – April the plateau is a fields of poppies.
The bike trails across the plateau don’t disappoint either – with some fast rolling routes before a superb descent down to the shores of the Lalla Takerkaust Lake.
Then we drive back to your hotel in Marrakech.
